To install and configure the IT equipment such as switches, routers, SD-WAN devices, Wifi access points, small servers, NVR/DVR (CMS and BMS) and rack-mounted UPS units, Regard Network Solution’s trained and qualified engineers will help in mounting and installing the rack. In addition to the IT equipment, passive network ports are integrated into the rack. These ports can accommodate various types of connections, such as data ports, voice ports, Wi-Fi ports, CCTV ports, and biometric ports. This approach helps reduce the need for additional passive network infrastructure within the branch, making it a plug-and-play solution.
Rapid Deployment
Standardize your deployments in your company and bring them online faster with Regard’s Protector Series Intelligent Rack. This system supports various equipment, including servers, storage, switches, routers, PDUs, UPSs, console ports, and multiple servers. Regard Network Solution’s team performs smart cabling, naming the cable ports based on their respective functionalities and connecting them to the patch panel. The two main sections of the patch panel are referred to as the “field site” and the “switch site.” This structured approach allows for easier connectivity and management of the network.
The following are the steps to set-up the rack:
1)Place the rack in the desired location.
2)Connect the field site cables to the 0patch panel.
3)Establish connectivity with the router and wifi router.
4)Rack power should be ON after completing the connectivity process.
